Product Description
Our polyester strapping is available in widths from 9 to 32 mm, with thicknesses from 0.55 to 1.20 mm and specified Grade I breaking strength values up to 15,000 N, depending on the selected model.
Designed for demanding industrial packaging requirements, PET strapping provides a combination of tensile strength, elastic recovery and corrosion resistance. It can be used to secure packaged timber, wood-based panels, steel products, building materials and palletized goods.

PET strapping can be used as part of the packaging process for palletized flooring products and decorative wall panels.Suitable applications include finished flooring cartons, packaged panel stacks and other compatible load configurations.
PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, a polyester material used to manufacture high-strength plastic strapping bands.
PET strapping generally offers greater tensile strength and better retained tension than conventional PP strapping of comparable application grades. Actual performance depends on the individual product specifications.
The highest listed Grade I breaking strength is 15,000 N for Model 32120. Grade-specific values must be interpreted according to the approved technical specification and testing method.
PET strapping can replace steel strapping in certain applications, but it is not suitable for every load. The decision depends on load weight, edges, tension requirements, transportation conditions and the relevant securing requirements.
PET strapping can be used with compatible automatic machines. The selected width, thickness, surface, coil dimensions and welding characteristics must match the machine specifications.
Yes. PET strapping is commonly considered for securing packaged wood-based panel stacks. The correct strap strength and protection method should be selected according to the package dimensions and weight.
